The interplay between physical and mental health has long been a central theme in medical and psychological research. This review article aims to elucidate the role of regular physical activity in reducing stress and enhancing mental well-being. Evidence indicates that regular exercise not only improves physical functioning but also alleviates nervous tension and elevates mood by lowering stress hormone levels and stimulating the release of "feel-good" chemicals in the brain. The findings confirm that physical activities—particularly aerobic exercise and movement-based meditative practices such as yoga—boost self-confidence, improve sleep quality, and reduce anxiety levels across various age groups. Ultimately, promoting a culture of exercise as a tool for stress management has the potential to significantly lower the prevalence of mental health disorders within society. Keywords: Regular exercise, stress, mental health, sleep quality, well-being.
